The Bielefeld Graduate School in History and Sociology (BGHS) joins the international doctoral programmes in sociology and in history at Bielefeld University under one umbrella. It provides an inspiring research environment for a diverse group of about 130 doctoral recearchers and integrates research on a broad variety of topics. The variety of topics will be supervised by professors at both of the involved institutions the Department of Sociology and the Department of History, Philosophy and Theology .
